Roofing Replacement
When a roof is past saving, we tear it off down to the deck and put a new one on: new underlayment, new shingles, new vents and flashing, and a clean yard when we leave.

A new roof, start to finish
Western Washington is hard on roofs. Months of rain, moss that never quite goes away, and fir needles piling up in the valleys all wear a roof down faster than the label on the bundle suggests. Once shingles are curling, granules are washing into the gutters, or cedar shakes have split and gone soft, patching just buys time.
We start by looking at the whole roof, including the deck underneath where we can see it, and tell you straight whether it needs replacing or whether a repair will hold. If it's time, we tear everything off, replace any rotten sheathing we find, lay new synthetic underlayment, and install new shingles with new vents, pipe boots and flashing around chimneys and walls.
We've done this on everything from small ranch homes to two-story houses with steep pitches, and on old cedar shake roofs being switched over to architectural shingles. You'll know what's happening each day, and we clean up the nails and debris before we call it done.
